Welcome to Friday Night Flag Cache Valley

Friday Night Flag is an NFL Flag-affiliated league, for all boys and girls from Pre-K to 8th grade, with an emphasis on team play and sportsmanship. Registration is OPEN for 2025 Spring. The Spring season runs from April through May, with games taking place on Friday nights. Coaches may have up to 4 practices prior to Opening Night, April 11. Practices may begin the week of March 17.

All Friday Night Flag games will be held at the Willow Park Sports Complex in Logan, UT, in the outfields of the softball fields. Practice times and location is up to the discretion of the volunteer head coach.

Friday Night Flag heavily relies on parent volunteers to serve as head coaches. If you are able to coach this season, we would greatly appreciate your help with coaching.

Note: Our league has a zero-tolerance policy for physical, emotional, or sexual harassment or abuse. All new head coaches must complete a background check and a signed code of conduct before the first practice of the season to ensure the safety of children and youth. We also urge all players, parents, coaches, officials, and fans to exhibit mutual respect towards each other during our practices and games, as well as towards our equipment and playing fields.

General League Format

Last two weeks is a single-elimination championship
5 on 5 format (8-10 players per team)
Equal playing time
One practice held a week (1-1.5 long)
NO Tryouts. NO Drafts. Rosters are formed by "friend" or "coach" request. Single players will be placed on teams.
ALL coaches are volunteer parents
Champion gifts may be awarded to the Champions of the grade division

Cache Valley Utah Spring 2025

ATTENTION, TEAM SPONSORS REQUIRED: All teams are required to have a Team Sponsor for their team. The Team Sponsorship is $150. This is required in order for teams to receive their NFL jerseys and shorts provided by the league. Team sponsorships will be due at Jersey Pickup Night prior to the first games in April.

Cache Valley Spring 2025 Game Season Dates: 7 weeks, April 11, 2025-May 17, 2025

Practices - Practices may begin the week of March 17. Coaches may have no more than up to 4 practices before Opening Night, April 11. Practices are encouraged throughout the entire season for once a week, 1.5 hours or less. Coaches determine practice time and location for their team.

FNF Regular Games - Every Friday night from April 11 to May 9

FNF Playoffs - Friday, May 16 (All teams participate)

FNF Championship Night - Saturday, May 17 (Additional playoff games as needed)

Registration Dates: October 22 to March 7, or until divisions are full

Early Registration:

Begins on October 22, 2024, at $110
Ends on November 29, 2024

Regular Registration:

Begins on November 30, 2024, at $125
Closes on January 31, 2025

Late Registration:

Opens on Feb. 1, 2025, at a rate of $140
Closes on March 7, 2025, or until divisions are full

Coach Volunteers

Friday Night Flag depends on parent volunteers. Head coaches, typically parents, receive 1 FREE PLAYER REGISTRATION for the next season they coach. However, if a head coach relies heavily on their assistant, they will not qualify for the free registration. The head coach meeting is tentatively set for Saturday, March 8, where team names will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis. If you volunteer to coach, we’ll confirm your participation before the meeting. All coaches must be registered by the first game night to qualify for a championship award if their team makes it to Championship Night.

Weather-related Game Cancellations

Plan on games unless otherwise notified by your coach. Games may or may not be rescheduled.

Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS after March 7, 2025. Refunds will also not be issued due to cancellations for weather/field condition. Forfeited games will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Age Policy

Must be at least 4 years old by the first night of games, April 11, 2025.
